Where will my degree be issued from?

Degrees are issued by Walsh College USA - WES Approved and recognised internationally for employment and further study worldwide.

General

What is the minimum IELTS score required?

IELTS 5.5 for undergraduate, 6.0 for graduate (MBA/MS), and 6.5 for doctoral programmes. TOEFL, PTE and Duolingo are also accepted.

What are the annual tuition fees?

AED 47,775 / Year (UG) · AED AED 49,775 / Year (MBA/MS) · AED 68,775/yr (DBA/PhD). Payment plans and scholarships of up to 50% are available.

Fees

Can I study online from outside the UAE?

Yes. Fully online students study entirely remotely with no campus visits required. No UAE visa is needed. Three intakes: September, January, and April.

Walsh College UAE is a branch campus of Walsh College, Michigan USA -an established American business and technology institution founded in 1922. Programmes deliver the same Michigan standard, and the degree is issued by Walsh College USA, recognised internationally and WES Approved.

Zone C, UAQ Free Trade Zone, Al Barqaa, Umm Al Quwain, UAE. Free transport is provided for all on-campus students from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain.

Degrees are issued by Walsh College USA -recognised internationally and WES (World Education Services) Approved, making the qualification globally portable for employment and further study in the USA, UK, Europe, and beyond.

Undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral (DBA), and PhD -a complete academic ladder within one institution. Students can progress from BBA through to PhD without changing university.

The BBA and BSIT are designed for three years. Duration may vary slightly based on credit transfers and study mode.

One to two years depending on prior qualifications and study mode. Structured specifically to suit working professionals, with evening and weekend scheduling available.

Three years of advanced study. PhD specialisations: Organisational Leadership, AI & Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity.

Yes. English is the sole language of instruction for all Walsh UAE programmes.

Yes. Three study modes: fully on-campus, fully online, and hybrid. Online students study entirely remotely -no campus visit required. Evening and weekend schedules are available for working professionals.

Apply online at admissions.walshcollege.ae or email admissions@walshcollege.ae. Three intake cycles per year: September, January, and April.

Grade 12 or equivalent. Accepted curricula: GCE A-Level (CCD+) · CBSE/ISC (50%+) · IB Diploma (21pts+) · US HS Diploma (GPA 3.0+) · BTEC L3 (MMM) · WAEC/NECO (5 B grades) · FBISE (50%+). English: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree (2:2 or equivalent). Work experience not mandatory -significant professional experience without a formal qualification is considered individually. English: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

Master's degree (GPA 3.0+), minimum 2 years professional experience, and a letter of intent reviewed by the doctoral committee. English: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and Duolingo English Test. If your previous degree was taught entirely in English, an official MOI (Medium of Instruction) letter is accepted in lieu of a test score. All scores must be valid within the last 2 years.

All applicants: passport copy, academic certificates, academic transcripts, English test results or MOI letter. Graduate adds: bachelor's certificate + transcript, CV, experience letters. Doctoral adds: master's certificate + transcript, letter of intent.

Yes. A school-issued predicted-grade letter is accepted. Your conditional offer becomes unconditional once final results arrive and meet the entry standard. You can also secure scholarship eligibility at the application stage.

Yes. Units with a passing grade of 70%+ are accepted for credit exemptions. A formal Mapping Approval document is issued confirming which credits Walsh recognises from your previous institution.

International Students

Yes. Students from all nationalities are welcome. Walsh UAE currently has students from over 30 countries, and the international environment is a core feature of both campus and online programmes.

On-campus students residing in the UAE require a student visa or residency permit -the enrolment team provides full guidance. Online students study entirely remotely from their home country and do not require a UAE visa at any point.

Yes. Credits earned at Walsh UAE are recognised at the Michigan parent campus. The enrolment team manages the full transfer process -credit mapping, formal approval documentation, and application support for the USA campus.

Yes. Free daily transport covers Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain for all on-campus students. Online students require no transport.

Yes. UAE-based students may pay in full or via an instalment plan. International students may pay upfront or in four equal instalments. Seats are confirmed with a 10% deposit plus a registration fee.

Yes. Scholarships of up to 50% are available based on academic merit, sports achievements, and other criteria. Availability varies by intake -contact your admissions counsellor to check current opportunities for your programme.

Depending on the programme, students may pay a registration fee, degree fee, student administrative fee, and software fees. On-campus students pay a refundable deposit. Full details are communicated during the pre-enrolment process.
